The Solutions Consultant role provides an opportunity for direct sales of creative and collaborative Professional Services solutions; interfaces with other members of the sales team to assist with sales efforts including designing financially compelling presentations based on business process discovery and presentation to key players in the customer's organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and presentation of customized product demonstrations for Professional Services solutions
  • Analyzes and documents customer technical requirements, including the ability to convey customer requirements via a Statement of Work and Task and Hours breakdown
  • Architects complex solutions to respond in a creative manner to each customer's specific requirements
  • Develops and executes implementation plans and coordinates with Xerox, customer and third-party resources
  • Understands customer requirements for support services; may recommend and deliver billable services as appropriate
  • Generate standard technical documentation to support the sales engagements and/or any bid response processes (RFI, RFP, etc...)
  • Developing standard statement of work (SOW) engagement / documentation
  • Administering Proof of Concept (POC) for client projects as needed
  • Deliver solution updates covering roadmaps with our customers and prospects
  • Partners with the Customer Services team to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Must be highly organized, and analytical
  • Must be able to travel throughout support territory

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ Years working in a pre-sales environment
  • Knowledge of Production of Solution Proposals, RFI's/RFP's and technical responses, Production of Bill of Materials (BOM's), Financial analysis of technical solutions
  • Solid experience within verticals such as Service Provider, Public Sector, Large Enterprise, Mid-Market
  • Enterprise architecture
  • Programming and Database experience

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Must be proficient in common software office applications.  i.e.  Microsoft Office Professional including Visio, Project 2013/16, SharePoint
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience with Scripting languages (i.e. VB script, Java script, PowerShell, Python)
  • Knowledgeable of VMware, Networking, IT Security, etc.
